If you have never used the Landid app before, here are some handy tips to help you to capture any space successfully:

1. Landid creates large files with all the property details you will need. To assist this to be completed smoothly, please: Turn off 'Low Power Mode' on your device, Force quit any other applications on your device while scanning and uploading, and Connect to Wifi (if available).
2. While scanning, move slowly and move through the space in a logical manner. By doing so, your 3D scans will be higher quality and your detail photos will be clearer.
3. Follow all the on-screen prompts and indicators during scanning. For example, while measurement scanning, accuracy will improve where the system has time to properly interpret what it is seeing. You may notice the white lines snapping into place. If a window or other object has not been detected, swell there so the system can identify it.
4. Measurement scanning best practice is to capture all the spaces you are measuring in one go. This could be multiple adjoining rooms/spaces, an entire apartment or a whole floor of a house. However, it is not advised to move through stairwells and multiple floors in one scan. If the property is over multiple floors, capture each floor in separate measurement scans.
5. Detail Scanning best practice is to capture an individual space per scan. During detail scanning a detail photo count is displayed. Best practice is to capture between 50-100 photos. Above this, file size may slow project upload and syncing.
6. After scanning, wait for upload to complete before adding more details (e.g. detail notes, additional scans). This ensure your project is successfully uploaded and synced for later use.
7. If you experience an app crash or scanning error, force quit the app and restart the app. The crash or error Amy be caused by a large file size or indicate that data syncing is still in progress.
8. After creating an additional scan for a project, navigate back to Dashboard/Project List screen and then navigate back into the Project Summary. Doing so may help to initiate upload and syncing of the of the new scan you created.

Landid Portal is a web application designed to allow for detailed review of all property data captured with the mobile app. It is designed to work nicely on any computer (desktop or laptop) and any web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.). Within the portal, users can get measurements, check property layout and access, review any visual details including fixture, fittings, finishes and furnishings, share project access and track individual scope tasks.

A Measurement Scan is a 3D model of any property captured using Landid App on your iPhone that contains the location, position and dimensions of every wall, floor, window, door, wall opening, fixture and major furnishings of the property. When viewed, the measurement scan is displayed as a dollhouse in greyscale. Overall Measurements and Quick Measurements can be easily taken from a measurement scan.

Best practice for scanning is to take a measurement scan of an entire floor of an apartment or house to capture the property layout and avoid being disorientated when viewing a property after completing a physical site visit. Follow the on-screen prompts while scanning for best results.

Detail Scans can be thought of as 3D pictures of the property. Detail scans are best taken of individual rooms or spaces within larger rooms to capture the rich visual detail of the property. Detail scans are associated with a Measurement Scan to make it quick and easy to navigate to and view the property details you need when quoting and delivering a project.

To capture a detail scan users must do so using Landid App on your iPhone. Initiate detail scanning from within a measurement scan by selecting a wall to be the detail scanning location and tapping the scan button to start.

An account is required to create more than 1 project, securely back up project details to the cloud, and to access advanced features. Sign up is simple and can be completed on either the app or the web portal.

Landid supports users with no account, free accounts and paid accounts. Each user type has different features and functionalities. Users without an account can create 1 project with more limited features. Free accounts have access to all features with a 5 project limit. Paid accounts can create unlimited projects while using all features.

Landid App is specifically designed and built for use on iPhone. An iPhone with the latest iOS and LiDAR is required to accurately scan the property and capture the details required to take your project quoting and delivery to the next level. These system requirements may change as Landid platform is further enhanced. To know if your device is compatible, simply go to the Landid listing in the Apple App Store on your iPhone and tap 'Get' or 'Update'.

iPhone is uniquely equipped with the latest hardware and software required to capture the details of any property. Landid harness the deep functionality of these devices to change the game in terms of property detail capture, project quoting and delivery.

Users can create their first project without needing to create an account. However, to be able to make use of teh advanced features of Landid Portal and to create more projects, an account is required. Sign up is easy and can be done through the app or via Landid Portal that is availble on any web browser. To sign up, simply visit https://app2.heylandid.com

In order to improve your experience and ensure your projects are proper;y saved, you should provide the app with permission to use your location. Permission can be granted through the app or in system preferences on your device. Location services are only used to properly locate your projects. Landid does not track your location outside of this specific task and Landid cannot be used by others to find your location.

Users without an account can create up to 1 project. Users with a free account can create up to 5 projects. In order to create more than 5 projects, user can refer a friend to Landid or upgrade to a paid account. When you refer a new user and they create their first project, you receive 5 additional project spaces on your account.

To create a project you need to capture at least 1 scan, a Measurement Scan. However, you can choose to capture additional scans at any time including both Measurement Scans and Detail Scans. Additional scan creation can be initiated from the Project Summary screen using the '+' icon in the top right of the screen.

Landid Portal has been designed to work nicely across most desktop and laptop devices and leading web browsers. While some issues may occur, most users should find they are able to access and view project details via the Landid Portal as expected. New users can sign up to create an account through the Landid Portal. To sign up, you will need to provider your name, email and create a password. To keep your account and project data safe, we have strict rules about password strength. You will be prompted to choose a strong password during the sign up process.

During account creation new users may be asked some profiling questions. This information is kept safe and is only collected to assist us in providing the right features to improve your routing and project experience.

As the creator of a project in Landid (referred to as Project Owners), you can share access to the project with other users (referred to as Project Members). Sharing a project grants view only access to the entire project. This includes all scans, notes, photos and more. So, it is important that you seek client consent before sharing a project and also check the details of those you are granting access are correct. Project access can be revoked and reinstated at any time give project owners full control over the projects and the data therein.

A key feature of Landid Portal is the ability to get quick access to overall measurements of the property you captured in a Project. These measurements include the total floor area, the total wall area (less all openings) and total perimeter length of all rooms. These measurements can be used to quickly estimate materials and labour time for painting, plastering tiling, floor coverings, and so on.

Note: Measurements are only of the areas contained in the measurement Scan. Please check you have scanned all areas that are relevant for your project to avoid missing measurements.

Another key feature of Landid Portal is the ability to get quick access to common measurements of the property you captured in a Project. Quick Measurements can be taken from Measurement Scans when using the Measure Mode feature. To take a quick measurement, simply 1) Open a Project from the Dashboard, 2) Open a Measurement Scan, 3) Navigate to the right position in the property scan, and 4) Select Measure Mode in the side panel. Once there, you can double click any object (such as a wall, floor, window, etc. to bring up the dimensions of that object.

A powerful feature of Landid Portal is the ability to get any measurement from the property you capture in a Project. Custom Measurements can be taken from Detail Scans when using the Measure Mode feature. To take a custom measurement, simply 1) Open a Project from the Dashboard, 2) Open a Detail Scan, 3) Navigate to the right position in the property scan, and 4) Select Measure Mode in the side panel. Once there, you can select two points to get a liner dimension. To get a surface masurement (area) select 3 or more points. Selected points will be highlighted in yellow with a line drawn connecting multiple points and yellow shading filling a selected surface. To discard a measurement, hit the ESC key on your keyboard or click the Discard button in the side panel.

Note: Measurements taken are not saved by the system.

Beyond the 3D property scans, Landid captures high resolution photos so you never miss an property details. To access photos of a property, simply 1) Open a Project from the Dashboard, 2) Open a Detail Scan, 3) Navigate to the right position in the property scan, 4) Select Photo Mode in the side panel, and 5) select the point in the scan you would like to view. The best 3 photos of that area of the property will be loaded. Select a photo zoom in.
